Screening without building a discrimination problem

Automated screening earns its keep when it is used to summarise and surface, not to reject. We build tools that read applications against the criteria you wrote down, extract the evidence for each one, and rank candidates with the reasoning visible, so a person can disagree with it in one click.

What we will not build is a system that silently rejects people on a score. Beyond being a legal exposure in the UK and EU, it hides your best sources of hire. Every screening decision our tools make is logged with the reason, and a human is required at the reject step.

Scheduling, which is where most of the hours actually go

The dull truth of recruiting is that coordination costs more time than judgement. Interview scheduling across panels and timezones, rescheduling when someone drops, sending the joining links, and chasing feedback afterwards are all fully automatable with no ethical complexity.

We usually start here. It is fast to build, the saving is immediate and measurable, and it does not require anyone to trust a model with a decision.

Onboarding and the internal assistant

Onboarding is a workflow problem: accounts to create, documents to sign, equipment to send, training to complete, each owned by a different person. We build the sequence once, trigger it on offer acceptance, and track what is outstanding rather than leaving it in someone's head.

The internal assistant is the other half. Most HR questions are the same twenty questions about leave, pay dates, policies, and expenses. An assistant grounded in your actual handbook answers those instantly and, importantly, tells people when it does not know rather than inventing a policy.

Working with the systems you already pay for

You almost certainly have an ATS or HRIS, and replacing it is rarely the right project. We integrate with what you run so records stay in one place, and we build only the parts your platform does not cover.

If your current platform does cover it and you are not using the feature, we will say so. That is a cheaper answer than a build.

FAQ

AI & HR Tools: common questions

  • It depends on how it is used and where you hire. In the UK and EU, decisions with a legal or similarly significant effect made purely by automation carry specific obligations, and candidates have rights to explanation. We build for human decision making with logged reasoning, which is both safer and better practice. Take your own legal advice on your jurisdiction.
