The problem

Sellers listing on Amazon, Shopify, Etsy and Daraz have to hit different image sizes, aspect ratios and background rules for each platform, by hand, for every photo. The tools that automate it upload your product photography to somebody else’s server, cap the free tier, and often charge at the download step.

What we built

We built the whole pipeline client-side. Decoding, resizing, padding, watermarking, compression and zipping all happen on the user’s own device using Web Workers and OffscreenCanvas, so nothing is ever transmitted and there is no per-user cost to run it. Marketplace presets are verified against each platform’s own documentation and carry a visible last-checked date. A set of programmatic landing pages answers the underlying search queries in full, each with the tool preconfigured for that marketplace.

Results

Every image processed on-device — zero third-party requests on the live site
24 twelve-megapixel photos ingested in ~1.5s and exported in ~3.3s, at ~36 MB peak memory
Worker pool with a main-thread fallback, because OffscreenCanvas support in Safari cannot be assumed
EXIF orientation handled, so portrait phone photos stop coming out sideways
Marketplace presets sourced and dated, driving the tool, the copy and the structured data from one file
Free at any batch size, with no account and no paid tier
106 unit tests and 80 browser tests across Chrome, Safari, Firefox and two mobile profiles
